Pharmacogenomics: An important area for pharmacy practice
This article provides important background information regarding pharmacogenomics (PGx), key definitions, an overview of important legislation affecting PGx data, discussion of key stakeholders and candidate patient groups for PGx testing. There is also some discussion of evidence supporting implementation in patients with various conditions or taking certain medications. Participants will also see application of the content and concepts in a case study.

5. Explain steps pharmacists can take to develop and implement a pharmacogenomics service offering.
