1. How do I log in?
Your username is your email address associated with your NCPA account. If you need assistance remembering your username or password, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please double check your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth on your account. If this information is incorrect, your credits will not transfer to the CPE monitor.
NOTE: NCPA recently moved to a new learning management system. If this site looks unfamiliar to you, you may not have ever logged in to the new NCPA Learning Center. Please use your www.ncpa.org log-in credentials (not a previous learning center account) or create a new account.
2. I forgot my ID/password, where can I find this information?
On the login page, you can click the link ‘forgot password?’ which will direct you to enter your email address associated with your account. You should receive an email with a link to generate a new password (please be sure to check your spam folder for this email).
Your username is your email address in your NCPA member account, if you need to confirm this information, please email email@example.com.
3. What is my NABP e-Profile ID?
An NABP e-Profile ID is generated when a pharmacist or pharmacy technician creates an e-Profile at www.nabp.net and is required to claim CE credits. Your e-Profile ID should contain 4-10 numbers and is not your state license ID, NPI number, social security number, employee ID or phone number. If you need to create or look up your e-Profile ID, go to https://nabp.pharmacy/cpe-monitor-service/.
Please be sure to enter your accurate number as your credits will NOT be reported to ACPE if this does not match your records.
4. How do I claim CE credit for completing an activity?
To receive credit for an activity you must complete all required components of the activity and the feedback survey, which will become available once all activity components have been completed. Upon completion, NCPA will automatically submit your activity credit information to the NABP CPE monitor.* Please allow up to six (6) weeks for your CPE credit to be reflected in the NABP CPE monitor. To confirm completion of an activity or to access your certificate, you can check “My Dashboard” or at the top of the learning center and click on “Completed” tab.
For Live Webinar CEs: During the live webinar, you will be provided an attendance code. After the program concludes, return to the CE page in the learning center, enter the attendance code, and complete the feedback survey. You must enter the attendance code and complete the feedback survey to receive credit.
For CEs On-Demand: Once enrolled in a course, complete the pre-test, watch the associated videos and complete any assigned modules, complete a final assessment with a passing score of at least 70%, and finish a feedback survey.
Please double check your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth on your account. If this information is incorrect, your credits will not transfer to NABP CPE monitor even though the credits will show up in your “completed tab” in your dashboard.
If we encounter any discrepancies in your profile information and follow-up with an email, you are given one week to respond to that email with your updated information. If we do not receive a response from you, your credits will not be transferred. Please note: NCPA is unable to make any submissions for activities past 6 months, per ACPE guidelines.
5. How long do I have to claim for my credits?
For any LIVE event, you must claim for your credits within 30 days from the date of the live event.
For any HOME STUDY activity, you must claim before the expiration date of the activity.
6. I missed a live webinar, can I receive the recording?
Many live CEs are converted to on-demand offerings and available shortly after the live event takes place. Search in the catalog for the topic you are interested in.
7. How do I sign up for a live CE webinar?
To sign up for a live CE, log in to the NCPA learning center and scroll to the Webinar Library. Click the “more info” button below the webinar you’d like to sign up for, then scroll down on the next page and click the “Enroll” button to enroll in the live CE webinar (for free events) or “purchase” option for paid webinars. On the day of the webinar, return to this same page and click the GoToWebinar icon, which will appear at the bottom of the page 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
8. I signed up to attend a live CE webinar. Where do I go the day of?
To access the live CE, login to the appropriate CE portal up to 15 minutes before the event is scheduled and scroll to the Live CE Webinars section. Click the “more info” button below the webinar you are attending. On the next page, scroll down and click the GoToWebinar button to join the webinar. The GoToWebinar icon will only appear 15 minutes before the webinar start time.
9. What if I failed a test?
If you have already taken the test once and failed, you may be given another opportunity to retake the test. Upon failing for the second time, you will no longer be eligible to retake the test or claim for credits.
10. Do I need to be an NCPA member to enroll in an activity?
Many activities do not require membership. If you are not a member, you must create an account with NCPA at no charge to enroll in the course. Activities for purchase are offered at a discounted rate for membership, but are available to members as well as non-members.
11. Who can enroll in educational activities?
Anyone is able to enroll in activities; however, credits are only available to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
12. Where do I find the access code to an online course/webinar?
Access codes are provided to attendees during a live webinar in order to receive credits. Attendance is required in order to receive the access code. If you have not attended a course, you will not be given the access code. For a missed live session, you may have the opportunity to purchase on-demand session.
13. Who can take the educational courses?
Anyone can take courses, however, credits are only available to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
14. I forgot to claim for my CE credits after attending a course. Can I still obtain credit?
If you would like to claim credits for an activity past 60 days or more after the activity, you will be subject to a $200 late fee in order for NCPA to submit your credits to NABP. Per ACPE guidelines, you are not eligible to claim credit for a CE after 6 months.
15. How can I submit my credits to CE Broker? (Licensed in FL)
NCPA does not automatically report credits to CE Broker. If you are licensed in the state of Florida and have taken a course with NCPA, you will need to login to your CPE Monitor account and self-report the credits to CE Broker.
